Magazine Analysis (Company Contents)

Contents

  1. Images: The left-hand photograph covers most of the background and doesn't feature the cover model, although it is a change of drastic theme, it does work with what the magazine is all about, it doesn't just feature about this one model, there are various other articles about others too. The Black font on White works well due to the fact it is trying to attract the attention of the reader so they can read about what to expect in the magazine before actually reading, however, both the text and image doesn't clash. On the right-hand page, the Black font on Yellow also surprisingly works, but the layout of the information that they are trying to put across is squashed together.
  2. Fonts: Only two font choices as far as I can see, and only one font is predominately used, which is bolder than the other.
  3. Layout Structure: On the right-hand page, Images are placed at the top of the page and writing is more towards the bottom and the Black on Yellow background is kind-of spontaneous in regards of the colour scheme.
  4. Colours: Black, White and Yellow are the main identifiable colours, but there are a dashes of colours in the main image on the left and the small images on the right.
